My name is Kimberly See.
I am a Filipino-American born abroad but raised in Seattle. I dabble in photography, visual design, videography and hope to work in the film/TV industry in the future. I entered Seattle Pacific University to study art, visual communications to be more specific. In the end, storytelling gripped my soul and never let go.
Like many before me and many who will come after me, my love for the written word first started within the pages of a book. Stories and narratives are such powerful tools. Through them, we can learn more about the world while learning a little more about ourselves at the same time.
“Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.”
George Bernard Shaw
I live with this hunger, this desire to study others, to capture and share the human experience. I’m so enraptured by people—the relationships they share, the way they think and behave, their culture, their stories. I am determined to grow, to discover who I am as a storyteller as well as who I want to be as a person.
I know I’m still a work in progress. There’s so much to learn from the world and from others. My dream is to dive deep into the creative community and call it home. Who knows where creativity will lead me.
